Wulan Pusponegoro is a graphic designer based in Jakarta. She graduated from Trisakti University, Jakarta and worked in advertising agency Asatsu-DK before pursuing a career in editorial design. As the creative director of Media Satu Publishing she handled more than 15 magazine titles including international titles such as JUICE and Top Gear; and titles for corporate clients such as Citibank, Central Park, and Sogo Department Store.
In 2009 she won a national logo competition for MRT Jakarta, the first underground / subway in the country which started to operate in 2019. Besides magazines, brand identity and corporate publications she does a number of integrated campaigns for F&B, the government sector to sport sector.
Following her passion for development & social change, in 2014 she obtained her MBA with a focus on social entrepreneurship from Tilburg University, The Netherlands. She then worked in the development sector, and started a coffee micro-roaster which aims to help farmers’ livelihood and promoting sustainable agriculture. In this sector she has helped farmers leverage their products by redesigning the packaging.
She is currently the Education & Research Director of Indonesian Graphic Designer Association (ADGI).
